Busting Generational Stereotypes
Time & Location
About The Event
Join forward-thinking HR professional Amanda Sheppard, PHR for a discussion about how we can reshape perceptions of our multi-generational workforce.
Millennials aren’t motivated. Gen Xers are cynics. Baby Boomers aren’t good with technology. Right? (Woof – it pained her to type those words!) Generational stereotypes have been circulated as useful information in the business space for quite some time. However, Amanda's not sold on the value of categorizing our workforce in this way. She believes there are much healthier methods to bridge gaps and lead diverse groups of people. Why is generational information so widely used? What should culture leaders utilize instead? How do you figure out what matters and what doesn’t?
As HR Manager, Amanda is responsible for the Human Resources function at Frank Productions. Her talk is filled with thought-provoking information and helpful framework. You’ll walk away with better tools to serve the human beings who work for your organizations to continue being a cultural leader for those around you.
